10 Sided Dice | D10 Dice for DND & Tabletop Roleplaying Games
In Dungeons and Dragons (DND) and other tabletop roleplaying games (TTRPGs), dice are a crucial element of gameplay. They can determine the success or failure of actions, as well as the amount of damage dealt or health gained. One of the most important dice in a complete set is the d10, or ten-sided die.
The d10 has an equal chance of rolling any integer from 1 to 10 and is typically shaped like a pentagonal trapezohedron. It is commonly used to determine damage from weapons and spells during battles and as a hit die to determine health gain during level-ups. Fighters, paladins, rangers, and other classes that use powerful weapons often roll d10s.
Additionally, two d10s can be rolled together to determine a result between 1 and 100, making them useful for determining random events and loot. Standard 7-dice sets have one d10 with faces numbered from 1 to 10, and a second d10 which is used for percentile rolls. The second d10 has faces numbered from 00 to 90 by tens. When both are rolled, their values are added together to determine the final result. The percentile d10 dice is shown in our product option lists as d10%.
